Notice for IIABC Members – One-Time Subsidy Available:
 IIABC members are eligible for a one-time subsidy of $400 provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, reducing their course cost to $150. This subsidy is available for one course registration per member in 2025 only. Eligibility will be verified upon registration. 

Please note: The $400 subsidy is non-transferable and available only once per member for one registration in 2025. The $150 member contribution is non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal or non-attendance. If a subsidized registrant cancels or does not attend, the subsidy is forfeited and cannot be applied again.

Course Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Exam Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (same day at the conclusion of the course, in-person)

Step 3: Register for the Course & Exam

  • Visit: https://irrigationbc.com/course-search
  • Purchase your course and exam to pursue certification.
  • If you are not an IIABC member, you must select interim membership during registration.
    Note: Removing the membership option will also remove the exam and you will not be certified.
  • If your company is a member, ask your account manager to add you to the company dashboard and register you on your behalf.
  • Course materials will be given on the same day of your course.
  • Please use the same email used for registration when writing the exam.

When are the next CIT-1 and CIT-2 courses being held?

Course dates and locations are posted on the website as soon as they are planned. Each year at our annual convention in November and Jan-Mar in selected regions. Regional courses are not posted until after the annual Convention.

YES, but you must first pass the CIT-Level 1 exam before you can write the CIT- Level 2 exam.

No, the CIT course must be taken and exam then successfully passed to become IIABC CIT-1 Certified.

Yes, but it is highly recommended that a person take some irrigation design training which can be done where offered. Agriculture design courses are offered if a waitlist of at least 10 people is reached.
