  3. Course, Books & Exam
    • Buy the course and exam to get certified.
    • If you are not a member, select an interim membership during registration. Removing the membership option will also remove the exam, and you won’t receive a certificate.
    • If your company is a member, ask your account manager to add you to the company dashboard and register you for the course and exam.
    • Course books and resource materials will be mailed to the same address used for registration prior to the course date. The mailing will be done by March 31, 2026.
  4. Locate Your Classroom/Zoom Link
    • Campus Map: Download the map for in-person courses here: Download.
    • Zoom Link: For online courses, the Zoom link is emailed immediately to the email you used during registration. Check your junk mail if you don’t see it. If you still haven’t received it, don’t worry — the Zoom link will be emailed to you 5 days before the course.
  5. Take the Exam
    • In-person course attendees can write the exam on the same day after the course from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
    • Proctoring sessions are available at: Proctoring Locations.
    • Exams can also be written at the Abbotsford office every 3rd Friday of the month at 1 pm (until April 2026).
  6. Need Help?

    • Contact us via text or call at 604-556-1791 for assistance.
    • Important Notices:
      • Last date for course/exam registration is one week before the course.
      • No late registrations accepted; choose the next available dates.
      • Refund Policy:
        • Full refund eligible if dropped before two weeks from the course start.
        • No refunds for requests submitted after two weeks; the fee won't be refunded.

When are the next CIT-1 and CIT-2 courses being held?

Course dates and locations are posted on the website as soon as they are planned. Each year at our annual convention in November and Jan-Mar in selected regions. Regional courses are not posted until after the annual Convention.

YES, but you must first pass the CIT-Level 1 exam before you can write the CIT- Level 2 exam.

No, the CIT course must be taken and exam then successfully passed to become IIABC CIT-1 Certified.

Yes, but it is highly recommended that a person take some irrigation design training which can be done where offered. Agriculture design courses are offered if a waitlist of at least 10 people is reached.
