Important Instructions for Course Enrollment and Participation

  1. Individual Enrollment Requirement:
    • The person enrolling must be the intended course participant.
    • Enrolling on behalf of someone else to secure a seat is strictly prohibited.
    • Such enrollments will be voided, and the original participant must register themselves or have the company coordinator register them correctly. No exceptions will be made.
    • In case of an erroneous enrollment, please email for a refund and ensure the correct candidate is enrolled.

    • Online Courses:
      • Books will be dispatched 10 days before the course date.
      • Late enrollments materials will be mailed at the last day of the week.
    • In-person Courses:
      • Materials provided on the day of the course.
  4. Arrival Time:
    • Online Courses:
      • Zoom meeting link sent two days before the course.
    • In-person Courses:
      • Arrive 15 minutes early for a smooth start.
  5. Refreshments for In-person Courses:
    • Morning coffee, tea, and refreshments provided before the class.
    • Lunch served during the scheduled break (subject to change).
  6. Examination Date and Time:
    • Please note that any course that includes an exam will have an additional fee of $150 on top of the course fee.

  7. Important Notices:
    • Last date for course/exam registration is one week before the course.
    • No late registrations accepted; choose the next available dates.
    • Refund Policy:
      • Full refund eligible if dropped before two weeks from the course start.
      • No refunds for requests submitted after two weeks; the fee won't be refunded.

When are the next CIT-1 and CIT-2 courses being held?

Course dates and locations are posted on the website as soon as they are planned. Each year at our annual convention in November and Jan-Mar in selected regions. Regional courses are not posted until after the annual Convention.

YES, but you must first pass the CIT-Level 1 exam before you can write the CIT- Level 2 exam.

No, the CIT course must be taken and exam then successfully passed to become IIABC CIT-1 Certified.

Yes, but it is highly recommended that a person take some irrigation design training which can be done where offered. Agriculture design courses are offered if a waitlist of at least 10 people is reached.
